Accrual Bank featured in UiPath DevCon 2026 keynote

Accrual Bank was used as the backdrop for the UiPath DevCon 2026 keynote, with four live automation demonstrations running on the bank's production platform. The demos covered HR onboarding resilience, billing dispute resolution on Flow, agentic QA for loan origination testing, and case-based loan origination across Accrual Bank Capital's mid-market book.

"We did not plan to become a keynote. We planned to build a bank that works. It turns out those are the same thing." Lin Xu, CIO.

Accrual Bank Capital ships billing dispute resolution on Flow

The Capital platform team has moved its SMB billing dispute resolution process onto a single Flow artifact. Around 150 disputes arrive each day. The new flow handles document extraction, ERP and CRM lookups, an agent recommendation, a human approval step, credit memo posting, and a customer resolution email. Clean cases close in under sixty seconds.

The launch followed an incident that became the internal argument for shipping: an S$11,000 dispute was fully approved and the customer notified before the credit memo step failed at the ERP with a 404. The root cause was a single wrong variable reference. The coding agent found it, fixed it, ran evaluations, and restarted the two affected instances before the morning standup had a quorum.

"The fix took less time than the postmortem would have. We decided to not write the postmortem." Rohan Deshmukh, Head of Platform Engineering.

Accrual Bank Services modernizes HR onboarding platform

The Services unit has completed the migration of its HR onboarding experience off a deprecated vendor API. The new pattern uses a resilient automation layer that falls back to UI automation when upstream APIs change, reducing new-hire time-to-productivity by 41 percent.

"We were tired of waking up to red pipelines whenever a vendor shipped a silent breaking change. The new pattern shrugs and keeps going." Marcus Keller, COO.
